According to the most recent Carrollton Texas demographics data available from the 2022 Census Bureau released in the American Community Survey in November of 2022, Figure 1 Carrollton depicts it has a Population 2021 of 131,388 which is the highest of all places in the metro area. Figure 3 uses the Carrollton population data for a comparison of the population growth/population change estimates from the years 2010 to 2021 and Carrollton Texas depicts an increase of 12,291 (10%).
The total Carrollton Texas greater area population percent change for all areas for the years from 2010 to 2021 is shown in Figure 4 and for Carrollton depicts it has a Population Change of 10.3% which is the second smallest when ranked by population percent change of all the other places in the local area.
Looking at the Carrollton population density (measured as people per square mile) and providing comparisons to both the national and state average population density in Figure 5, Carrollton Texas depicts it has 3,622 people per square mile which is the second most people per square mile of all the places in the greater Carrollton region. The next lower population density is The Colony about 16.4% smaller with population density of 3,110. The city with the highest population density in the area is Addison which depicts a people per square mile of 3,747 (only about 3.4% larger). Figure 6 provides Carrollton demographics for the overall median age for all people in the region and Carrollton shows it has a Median Age of 38.4 which is the third most median age of all other places in the greater Carrollton region. The city with the highest overall median age of all people in the area is Coppell which shows an age of 39.9 (only about 3.9% larger). Figure 9 shows the Carrollton Texas Hispanic (including non Hispanic whites) population household ethnicity in the region and Carrollton indicates it has a Hispanic or Latino of 32.8% which is the second most Hispanic Population of all the places in the greater Carrollton region.

Figure 11 compares the average household size using the average number of people in a family for Carrollton households. Carrollton depicts it has a Family Size of 3.3 which is the third most average family size of all other places in the greater Carrollton region. The city with the highest average family size in the area is Farmers Branch which shows an average family size of 3.4 (only about 3.5% larger).
Looking at Carrollton households that are headed by a husband and wife as a percent of all families in Figure 12, Carrollton shows it has a Married-couple family of 78% which is in the mid point range of other places in the local area. The city with the highest percent of people in a husband and wife family in the area is Hebron which depicts a husband and wife family percent of 89% (13.7% larger).
The next section of charts provide a detailed look at mothers and baby births that occurred over the past 12 months. Figure 13 shows the rate of women aged 15 to 50 years old who have given birth. Carrollton depicts it has a Birth Rate of 3.7% which is the smallest as measured by percent of women who gave birth of all the other places in the surrounding region. The city with the highest percent of women who gave birth in the area is Hebron which shows a birth rate of 11.7% (approximately 3.2 times bigger). Figure 14 shows the breakdown of the mother's age for all baby births that occurred in the last 12 months and it has the largest proportion of percent of births to mothers aged 15 to 19 at 13% of the total and is ranked #1.
The next set of demographic data looks at the marital status for Carrollton households which is useful for internet research. Figure 16 compares the total number of single people in each area. Carrollton depicts it has a Total Single People of 46% which is in the mid range of other places in the local area. The city with the highest percent of people who are single for any reason in the area is Addison which shows a percent single of 61% (31.7% larger). Comparing percent of people who are single for any reason to the United States average of 50%, Carrollton is about 9.0% smaller. Also, in contrast to the state of Texas, percent of people who are single for any reason of 48%, Carrollton is only about 5.0% smaller.

The next diagram (Figure 18) shows the year of entry that non citizens entered the United States. The year of entry can show the rate of flow at various points of time in the past for when they entered the U.S. has the smallest proportion of non citizens who entered the US after 2010 at 36% of the total. Second, it has the largest proportion of non citizens who entered the US between 1990 to 1999 at 24% of the total and is ranked #1.
