According to the most recent ZIP code 18912 Pennsylvania demographics data available from the United States Census Bureau released in the American Community Survey in December of 2020, Figure 1 ZIP code 18912 depicts it has a Population 2019 of 280 which is the smallest in terms of population of all the other zip codes in the local area. The zip code with the highest population in the area is 18901 which shows a population of 27,851 ( considerably bigger). Figure 3 uses the ZIP code 18912 population data for a comparison of the population growth/population change estimates from the years 2010 to 2019 and 18912 Pennsylvania depicts an increase of 241 (618%).
The total ZIP code 18912 Pennsylvania greater area population percent change for all areas for the years from 2010 to 2019 is shown in Figure 4 and for 18912 shows it has a Population Change of 617.9% which is the highest of all zip codes in the greater ZIP code 18912 region.
Looking at the ZIP code 18912 population density (measured as people per square mile) and providing comparisons to both the national and state average population density in Figure 5, 18912 Pennsylvania shows it has 705 people per square mile which is in the middle range of other zip codes in the greater region. The next higher when ranked by population density is 18902 9.9% larger with population density of 775. The zip code with the highest population density in the area is 18901 which shows a people per square mile of 1,382 (about twice as large). Figure 6 provides ZIP code 18912 demographics for the overall median age for all people in the region and 18912 shows it has a Median Age of 6.1 which is the smallest as measured by overall median age of all people of all the other zip codes in the area. The zip code with the highest overall median age of all people in the area is 18938 which shows an age of 54.3 ( substantially bigger).
The next demographic analysis (Figure 8) looks at large generational ZIP code 18912 population groups (and can be useful internet research for employment related research or identifying areas with retirees). Key findings in this chart includes that 18912 Pennsylvania has the largest proportion of people between 20 and 29 years old at 32.1% of the total and is ranked #1. Second, it has the smallest proportion of people between 50 and 59 yeasr old at 2.1% of the total. Third, it has the smallest proportion of people between 60 and 69 years old at 1.8% of the total. Figure 11 compares the ratio of the amount of men to the amount of women and shows total male population about 12.1% smaller as the total female population.

Figure 12 shows the detailed marriage characteristics broken down by %residents who are married, never married, single, divorced, and widowed. ZIP code 18912 has the smallest proportion of total percent married at 11% of the total. Figure 14 compares the average household size using the average number of people in a family for ZIP code 18912 households. 18912 shows it has a Family Size of 6.0 which is the largest of all zip codes in the local area.

The next set of demographic data looks at the marital status for ZIP code 18912 households which is useful for internet research. Figure 28 compares the total number of single people in each area. 18912 shows it has a Total Single People of 11% which is the smallest when ranked by percent of people who are single for any reason of all the other zip codes in the area. The zip code with the highest percent of people who are single for any reason in the area is 18901 which shows a percent single of 49% (approximately 4.5 times bigger). Comparing percent of people who are single for any reason to the United States average of 50%, ZIP code 18912 is approximately a fifth the size. Also, benchmarked against the state of Pennsylvania, percent of people who are single for any reason of 50%, ZIP code 18912 is approximately a fifth the size.
Figure 34 shows the ZIP code 18912 population data for the ratio of the number of single women between the age of 18 and 65, in each area, broken down by age group for the ZIP code 18912 metro area. 18912 Pennsylvania has the largest proportion of single women 50 to 60 at 100% of the total and is ranked #1.
