According to the most recent South Fork CDP Missouri demographics data available from the United States Census Bureau released in the American Community Survey in December of 2020, Figure 1 South Fork CDP shows it has a Population 2019 of 51 which is the smallest as measured by population of all the other places in the local area. The place with the highest population in the area is West Plains which shows a population of 12,233 ( very much bigger). Figure 3 uses the South Fork CDP population data for a comparison of the population growth/population change estimates from the years 2010 to 2019 and South Fork CDP Missouri depicts a decline of 190 (79%).
The total South Fork CDP Missouri greater area population percent change for all areas for the years from 2010 to 2019 is shown in Figure 4 and for South Fork CDP depicts it has a Population Change of -78.8% which is the smallest when sorted by population percent change of all the other places in the greater region.
Looking at the South Fork CDP population density (measured as people per square mile) and providing comparisons to both the national and state average population density in Figure 5, South Fork CDP Missouri depicts it has 15 people per square mile which is the smallest in order of population density of all the other places in the surrounding region. The next higher in terms of population density is Pomona CDP appreciably bigger with population density of 103. The place with the highest population density in the area is Koshkonong which shows a people per square mile of 1,115 ( substantially bigger). Figure 6 provides South Fork CDP demographics for the overall median age for all people in the region and South Fork CDP depicts it has a Median Age of 52.7 which is the second most median age of all the places in the greater South Fork CDP region. The place with the highest overall median age of all people in the area is Brandsville which depicts an age of 58.4 (10.8% larger).
The next demographic analysis (Figure 8) looks at large generational South Fork CDP population groups (and can be useful internet research for employment related research or identifying areas with retirees). Key findings in this chart includes that South Fork CDP Missouri has the largest proportion of people between 40 and 49 years old at 76.5% of the total and is ranked #1. Second, it has one of the largest proportions of people between 50 and 59 yeasr old at 23.5% of the total and is ranked #2. The only larger place being Brandsville with 25.2%. Figure 11 compares the ratio of the amount of men to the amount of women and shows total male population 31.8% larger as the total female population.

Figure 14 compares the average household size using the average number of people in a family for South Fork CDP households. South Fork CDP depicts it has a Family Size of 2.1 which is the smallest as measured by average family size of all the other places in the metro area. The place with the highest average family size in the area is Bakersfield which shows an average family size of 4.5 (about twice as large).
Figure 15 shows the overall ratio of South Fork CDP households for families to the total number of South Fork CDP households and that South Fork CDP depicts it has a Families of 75% which is the second most of all the places in the greater region. The place with the highest percent of people who are in a family in the area is Pomona CDP which depicts a families percent of 86% (14.3% larger).
Looking at South Fork CDP households that are headed by a husband and wife as a percent of all families in Figure 16, South Fork CDP depicts it has a Married-couple family of 100% which is the most of all places in the surrounding region.

The next chart (Figure 36) shows for all citizens what the original place of birth was for people who were born in a foreign country and it has the largest proportion of birthplace in the Midwest at 33% of the total and is ranked #1.
