According to the most recent Grand Pass Missouri demographics data available from the United States Census Bureau released in the American Community Survey in December of 2020, Figure 1 Grand Pass depicts it has a Population 2019 of 62 which is the smallest in order of population of all the other places in the local area. The city with the highest population in the area is Carrollton which depicts a population of 3,637 ( markedly bigger). Figure 3 uses the Grand Pass population data for a comparison of the population growth/population change estimates from the years 2010 to 2019 and Grand Pass Missouri depicts a decline of 4 (6%).
The total Grand Pass Missouri greater area population percent change for all areas for the years from 2010 to 2019 is shown in Figure 4 and for Grand Pass shows it has a Population Change of -6.1% which is less than most other places in the surrounding region.
Looking at the Grand Pass population density (measured as people per square mile) and providing comparisons to both the national and state average population density in Figure 5, Grand Pass Missouri depicts it has 571 people per square mile which is the smallest in order of population density of all the other places in the local area. The next higher when ranked by population density is Waverly 14.3% larger with population density of 652. The city with the highest population density in the area is Alma which shows a people per square mile of 1,697 (approximately 3.0 times bigger). Figure 6 provides Grand Pass demographics for the overall median age for all people in the region and Grand Pass depicts it has a Median Age of 33.8 which is the smallest in terms of overall median age of all people of all the other places in the local area. The city with the highest overall median age of all people in the area is Blackburn which shows an age of 52.5 (55.3% larger). The Grand Pass Missouri population data for median age broken out by gender for both men versus the median age of women is shown in Figure 7. Grand Pass Missouri depicts a median age of men only about 3.6% smaller as the median age of women.
The next demographic analysis (Figure 8) looks at large generational Grand Pass population groups (and can be useful internet research for employment related research or identifying areas with retirees). Key findings in this chart includes that Grand Pass Missouri has the largest proportion of people between 20 and 29 years old at 22.6% of the total and is ranked #1. Second, it has the smallest proportion of people between 40 and 49 years old at 8.1% of the total. Third, it has the smallest proportion of people between 60 and 69 years old at 3.2% of the total. Figure 11 compares the ratio of the amount of men to the amount of women and depicts total male population about 13.8% smaller as the total female population.

Figure 12 shows the detailed marriage characteristics broken down by %residents who are married, never married, single, divorced, and widowed. Grand Pass has one of the largest proportions of total percent married at 36% of the total and is ranked #2. The only larger city being Malta Bend with 51%. Second, it has the smallest proportion of never married percent at 2% of the total. Third, it has the smallest proportion of percent divorced at 4% of the total. Figure 14 compares the average household size using the average number of people in a family for Grand Pass households. Grand Pass depicts it has a Family Size of 3.7 which is the highest of all places in the greater Grand Pass region.
Figure 15 shows the overall ratio of Grand Pass households for families to the total number of Grand Pass households and that Grand Pass depicts it has a Families of 84% which is the most of all places in the greater Grand Pass region.
Looking at Grand Pass households that are headed by a husband and wife as a percent of all families in Figure 16, Grand Pass depicts it has a Married-couple family of 100% which is the largest of all places in the greater Grand Pass region.

The next set of demographic data looks at the marital status for Grand Pass households which is useful for internet research. Figure 28 compares the total number of single people in each area. Grand Pass depicts it has a Total Single People of 42% which is less than most other places in the local area. The city with the highest percent of people who are single for any reason in the area is Malta Bend which depicts a percent single of 72% (72.6% larger). Comparing percent of people who are single for any reason to the United States average of 50%, Grand Pass is about 19.6% smaller. Also, in comparison with the state of Missouri, percent of people who are single for any reason of 49%, Grand Pass is about 16.9% smaller.
Figure 30 compares the single people in each area broken down by never married, divorced, and widowed. Grand Pass Missouri has the smallest proportion of percent never married at 2% of the total. Second, it has the smallest proportion of percent divorced at 4% of the total. Figure 32 shows the number of single women adults in each area broken out by never married, divorced and widowed. Grand Pass Missouri has the smallest proportion of women who have never been married at 4% of the total. Second, it has the second smallest as measured by percent of women who have never been married of all the other places in the metro area as measured by women who are divorced at 8% of the total.
Figure 34 shows the Grand Pass population data for the ratio of the number of single women between the age of 18 and 65, in each area, broken down by age group for the Grand Pass metro area. Grand Pass Missouri has the largest proportion of single women 45 to 49 at 100% of the total and is ranked #1.

The next chart (Figure 36) shows for all citizens what the original place of birth was for people who were born in a foreign country and has the smallest proportion of birthplace in northeast US at 5% of the total. Second, it has the largest proportion of birthplace in the South at 6% of the total and is ranked #1.
