Revere-Redwood County Minnesota Population Charts

According to the most recent Revere-Redwood County Minnesota demographics data available from the United States Census Bureau released in the American Community Survey in December of 2019, Figure 1 Revere-Redwood County depicts it has a population of 78 which is less than most other places in the area. The city with the highest population in the area is Lamberton which depicts a population of 754 ( markedly bigger). Figure 3 uses the Revere-Redwood County population data for a comparison of the population growth/population change estimates from the years 2010 to 2018 and Revere-Redwood County Minnesota shows a decline of 17 (18%).

The total Revere-Redwood County Minnesota greater area population percent change for all areas for the years from 2010 to 2018 is shown in Figure 4 and for Revere-Redwood County depicts it has a population percent change of -17.9% which is less than most other places in the area.

Looking at the Revere-Redwood County population density (measured as people per square mile) and providing comparisons to both the national and state average population density in Figure 5, Revere-Redwood County Minnesota indicates it has 136 people per square mile which is the second smallest in terms of population density of all the other places in the metro area. The city with the highest overall median age of all people in the area is Wanda which depicts an age of 64.0 (50.6% larger). The next demographic analysis (Figure 8) looks at large generational Revere-Redwood County population groups (and can be useful internet research for employment related research or identifying areas with retirees). Figure 9 illustrates the overall diversity breakdown for Revere-Redwood County population and ethnicity groups in the area. (note: Hispanic/Latino is broken out separately in the next diagram and also the group denoted as Native ethnicity includes Native American, and Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander.) Revere-Redwood County Minnesota has one of the largest proportions of Asian population at 11.5% of the total and is ranked #2. The only larger city being Walnut Grove with 41.5%. Figure 11 compares the ratio of the amount of men to the amount of women and shows total male population approximately three-fourths the size as the total female population.

Figure 12 shows the detailed marriage characteristics broken down by %residents who are married, never married, single, divorced, and widowed. Revere-Redwood County has the percentage of total percent married the second smallest as measured by total percent of people married of all the other places in the local area at 41% of the total. Second, it has the largest proportion of never married percent at 51% of the total and is ranked #1. Third, it has the second smallest when sorted by total percent of people married of all the other places in the metropolitan area as measured by percent divorced at 3% of the total. Figure 14 compares the average household size using the average number of people in a family for Revere-Redwood County households. Revere-Redwood County depicts it has an average family size of 2.9 which is the third most of all other places in the metropolitan area. The city with the highest average family size in the area is Walnut Grove which indicates an average family size of 3.2 (10.3% larger).

Figure 15 shows the overall ratio of Revere-Redwood County households for families to the total number of Revere-Redwood County households and that Revere-Redwood County shows it has a percent of people who are in a family of 57% which is less than most other places in the area. The city with the highest percent of people who are in a family in the area is Storden which shows a families percent of 80% (39.6% larger).

Looking at Revere-Redwood County households that are headed by a husband and wife as a percent of all families in Figure 16, Revere-Redwood County shows it has a percent of people in a husband and wife family of 88% which is the second most of all the places in the metropolitan area. The city with the highest percent of people in a husband and wife family in the area is Wanda which depicts a husband and wife family percent of 92% (only about 4.8% larger).

The next set of demographic data looks at the marital status for Revere-Redwood County households which is useful for internet research. Figure 28 compares the total number of single people in each area. Revere-Redwood County indicates it has a percent of people who are single for any reason of 59% which is the highest of all places in the greater Revere-Redwood County region. Comparing percent of people who are single for any reason to the United States average of 50%, Revere-Redwood County is 19.0% larger. Also, compared to the state of Minnesota, percent of people who are single for any reason of 47%, Revere-Redwood County is 26.8% larger.

Figure 30 compares the single people in each area broken down by never married, divorced, and widowed. Revere-Redwood County Minnesota has the largest proportion of percent never married at 51% of the total and is ranked #1. Second, it has the second smallest when ranked by percent of people never married of all the other places in the surrounding region when ranked by percent divorced at 3% of the total. Third, it has less than most other places in the metropolitan area as measured by percent widowed at 6% of the total. Figure 31 shows the demographics for the number of single men adults in each area broken out by never married, divorced and widowed. Second, it has one of the largest proportions of men who are divorced at 6% of the total and is ranked #3. Only #2 Sanborn (12%), and #1 Lamberton (16%) are larger. Figure 32 shows the number of single women adults in each area broken out by never married, divorced and widowed. Figure 33 shows the Revere-Redwood County demographics for the ratio of the number of single men between the age of 18 and 65, in each area, broken down by age group for the Revere-Redwood County metro area. Revere-Redwood County Minnesota has the largest proportion of single men 25 to 29 at 31% of the total and is ranked #1. Second, it has the largest proportion of single men 35 to 39 at 44% of the total and is ranked #1. Third, it has less than most other places in the area when sorted by single men 60 to 65 at 6% of the total.

Figure 34 shows the Revere-Redwood County population data for the ratio of the number of single women between the age of 18 and 65, in each area, broken down by age group for the Revere-Redwood County metro area. Second, it has the largest proportion of birthplace outside US at 6% of the total and is ranked #1.

In Figure 37, the demographic percentage of Revere-Redwood County residents who were not born in the United States is shown (i.e. percent foreign born.) Revere-Redwood County shows it has a percent of population who was born in another country of 9.0% which is the second most percent born outside United States of all the places in the greater Revere-Redwood County region. The city with the highest percent of population who was born in another country in the area is Walnut Grove which depicts a percent born outside United States of 13.7% (52.4% larger). Comparing percent of population who was born in another country to the United States average of 13.5%, Revere-Redwood County is approximately three-fourths the size. Also, measured against the state of Minnesota, percent of population who was born in another country of 8.4%, Revere-Redwood County is 7.4% larger.



For all foreign born people who have gone through naturalization (the process of becoming a legal U.S. resident citizen), Figure 42 shows the year when they became fully naturalized U.S. citizens. it has the largest proportion of people naturalized 2010 to 2014 at 14% of the total and is ranked #1. Second, it has one of the largest proportions of people naturalized 2005 to 2009 at 43% of the total and is ranked #2. The only larger city being Lamberton with 50%. Third, it has the largest proportion of people naturalized 1990 to 1994 at 43% of the total and is ranked #1.
