According to the most recent North Corbin CDP Kentucky demographics data available from the 2022 Census Bureau released in the American Community Survey in November of 2022, Figure 1 North Corbin CDP shows it has a Population 2021 of 1,807 which is less than most other places in the local area. The place with the highest population in the area is Corbin which depicts a population of 8,397 (approximately 4.6 times bigger). Figure 3 uses the North Corbin CDP population data for a comparison of the population growth/population change estimates from the years 2010 to 2021 and North Corbin CDP Kentucky depicts an increase of 34 (2%).
The total North Corbin CDP Kentucky greater area population percent change for all areas for the years from 2010 to 2021 is shown in Figure 4 and for North Corbin CDP indicates it has a Population Change of 1.9% which is the third most population percent change of all other places in the greater North Corbin CDP region.
Looking at the North Corbin CDP population density (measured as people per square mile) and providing comparisons to both the national and state average population density in Figure 5, North Corbin CDP Kentucky depicts it has 1,016 people per square mile which is in the mid range of other places in the surrounding region. The next higher as measured by population density is Corbin only about 4.8% larger with population density of 1,064. The place with the highest population density in the area is Williamsburg which depicts a people per square mile of 1,267 (24.7% larger). Figure 6 provides North Corbin CDP demographics for the overall median age for all people in the region and North Corbin CDP shows it has a Median Age of 30.7 which is the second smallest when sorted by overall median age of all people of all the other places in the surrounding region. The place with the highest overall median age of all people in the area is Rockholds CDP which shows an age of 46.3 (50.8% larger).
The next demographic analysis (Figure 7) looks at large generational North Corbin CDP population groups (and can be useful internet research for employment related research or identifying areas with retirees). Key findings in this chart includes that North Corbin CDP Kentucky has the largest proportion of people between 20 and 29 years old at 14.4% of the total and is ranked #1. Second, it has the smallest proportion of people between 60 and 69 years old at 5.9% of the total.

Figure 10 shows the detailed marriage characteristics broken down by %residents who are married, never married, single, divorced, and widowed. North Corbin CDP has the smallest proportion of total percent married at 21% of the total. Second, it has the largest proportion of never married percent at 27% of the total and is ranked #1. Third, it has the smallest proportion of percent divorced at 2% of the total. Figure 11 compares the average household size using the average number of people in a family for North Corbin CDP households. North Corbin CDP shows it has a Family Size of 3.8 which is the third most average family size of all other places in the greater North Corbin CDP region. The place with the highest average family size in the area is Barbourville which depicts an average family size of 4.2 (11.5% larger).
Looking at North Corbin CDP households that are headed by a husband and wife as a percent of all families in Figure 12, North Corbin CDP depicts it has a Married-couple family of 72% which is the third most of all other places in the local area. The place with the highest percent of people in a husband and wife family in the area is Rockholds CDP which shows a husband and wife family percent of 77% (7.4% larger).
The next section of charts provide a detailed look at mothers and baby births that occurred over the past 12 months. Figure 13 shows the rate of women aged 15 to 50 years old who have given birth. North Corbin CDP depicts it has a Birth Rate of 6.0% which is the third most percent of women who have given birth of all other places in the greater North Corbin CDP region. The place with the highest percent of women who gave birth in the area is East Bernstadt CDP which depicts a birth rate of 10.7% (77.6% larger). Figure 14 shows the breakdown of the mother's age for all baby births that occurred in the last 12 months and it has one of the largest proportions of percent of births to mothers aged 20 to 24 at 43% of the total and is ranked #3. Only #2 London (63%), and #1 Williamsburg (65%) are larger. Second, it has the largest proportion of percent of births to mothers aged 30 to 34 at 57% of the total and is ranked #1.
The next set of demographic data looks at the marital status for North Corbin CDP households which is useful for internet research. Figure 16 compares the total number of single people in each area. North Corbin CDP depicts it has a Total Single People of 50% which is the smallest as measured by percent of people who are single for any reason of all the other places in the greater region. The place with the highest percent of people who are single for any reason in the area is Barbourville which depicts a percent single of 68% (35.7% larger). Comparing percent of people who are single for any reason to the United States average of 50%, North Corbin CDP is about the same size. Also, in contrast to the state of Kentucky, percent of people who are single for any reason of 49%, North Corbin CDP is only slightly larger.
