According to the most recent ZIP code 06022 Connecticut demographics data available from the United States Census Bureau released in the American Community Survey in March of 2022, Figure 1 ZIP code 06022 depicts it has a Population 2020 of 102 which is the smallest when ranked by population of all the other zip codes in the local area. The zip code with the highest population in the area is 06019 which shows a population of 10,172 ( considerably bigger). Figure 3 uses the ZIP code 06022 population data for a comparison of the population growth/population change estimates from the years 2010 to 2020 and 06022 Connecticut depicts a decline of 61 (37%).
The total ZIP code 06022 Connecticut greater area population percent change for all areas for the years from 2010 to 2020 is shown in Figure 4 and for 06022 indicates it has a Population Change of -37.4% which is the smallest in terms of population percent change of all the other zip codes in the greater region.
Looking at the ZIP code 06022 population density (measured as people per square mile) and providing comparisons to both the national and state average population density in Figure 5, 06022 Connecticut shows it has 63 people per square mile which is the smallest as measured by population density of all the other zip codes in the local area. The next higher in order of population density is 06063 71.7% larger with population density of 108. The zip code with the highest population density in the area is 06061 which shows a people per square mile of 2,318 ( markedly bigger). Figure 6 provides ZIP code 06022 demographics for the overall median age for all people in the region and 06022 depicts it has a Median Age of 47.4 which is the second most median age of all the zip codes in the greater ZIP code 06022 region. The zip code with the highest overall median age of all people in the area is 06019 which shows an age of 50.6 (6.8% larger).
The next demographic analysis (Figure 8) looks at large generational ZIP code 06022 population groups (and can be useful internet research for employment related research or identifying areas with retirees). Key findings in this chart includes that 06022 Connecticut has the largest proportion of people between 30 and 39 years old at 40.2% of the total and is ranked #1. Second, it has the largest proportion of people between 40 and 49 years old at 37.3% of the total and is ranked #1. Figure 10 shows the ZIP code 06022 Connecticut Hispanic (including non Hispanic whites) population household ethnicity in the region and 06022 shows it has a Hispanic or Latino of 43.1% which is the largest of all zip codes in the greater ZIP code 06022 region. Figure 11 compares the ratio of the amount of men to the amount of women and depicts total male population 55.0% larger as the total female population.

Figure 14 compares the average household size using the average number of people in a family for ZIP code 06022 households. 06022 shows it has a Family Size of 2.5 which is the smallest as measured by average family size of all the other zip codes in the surrounding region. The zip code with the highest average family size in the area is 06092 which shows an average family size of 3.5 (38.6% larger).
Figure 15 shows the overall ratio of ZIP code 06022 households for families to the total number of ZIP code 06022 households and that 06022 depicts it has a Families of 100% which is the largest of all zip codes in the greater ZIP code 06022 region.
Looking at ZIP code 06022 households that are headed by a husband and wife as a percent of all families in Figure 16, 06022 depicts it has a Married-couple family of 100% which is at the top of all other zip codes in the surrounding region.

The next chart (Figure 36) shows for all citizens what the original place of birth was for people who were born in a foreign country and it has the largest proportion of birthplace in northeast US at 19% of the total and is ranked #1.
