According to the most recent Englewood Colorado demographics data available from the 2022 Census Bureau released in the American Community Survey in November of 2022, Figure 1 Englewood depicts it has a Population 2021 of 33,500 which is the second most populous of all the places in the greater Englewood region. The city with the highest population in the area is Littleton which depicts a population of 45,465 (35.7% larger). Figure 3 uses the Englewood population data for a comparison of the population growth/population change estimates from the years 2010 to 2021 and Englewood Colorado depicts an increase of 3,245 (11%).
The total Englewood Colorado greater area population percent change for all areas for the years from 2010 to 2021 is shown in Figure 4 and for Englewood shows it has a Population Change of 10.7% which is in the center range of other places in the local area.
Looking at the Englewood population density (measured as people per square mile) and providing comparisons to both the national and state average population density in Figure 5, Englewood Colorado shows it has 5,113 people per square mile which is more than all other places in the greater Englewood region. The next lower population density is Holly Hills CDP about 5.5% smaller with population density of 4,846. Figure 6 provides Englewood demographics for the overall median age for all people in the region and Englewood shows it has a Median Age of 36.1 which is the second smallest when sorted by overall median age of all people of all the other places in the metro area. The city with the highest overall median age of all people in the area is Columbine Valley which shows an age of 54.1 (49.9% larger).
The next demographic analysis (Figure 7) looks at large generational Englewood population groups (and can be useful internet research for employment related research or identifying areas with retirees). Key findings in this chart includes that Englewood Colorado has the largest proportion of people less than 20 years of age at 18.5% of the total and is ranked #1. Second, it has the largest proportion of people between 20 and 29 years old at 20.1% of the total and is ranked #1. Third, it has the smallest proportion of people between 50 and 59 yeasr old at 11.0% of the total. Figure 9 shows the Englewood Colorado Hispanic (including non Hispanic whites) population household ethnicity in the region and Englewood shows it has a Hispanic or Latino of 17.8% which is the second most of all the places in the greater region.

Figure 10 shows the detailed marriage characteristics broken down by %residents who are married, never married, single, divorced, and widowed. Englewood has one of the largest proportions of total percent married at 39% of the total and is ranked #2. The only larger city being Sheridan with 40%. Figure 11 compares the average household size using the average number of people in a family for Englewood households. Englewood depicts it has a Family Size of 3.1 which is less than most other places in the metropolitan area. The city with the highest average family size in the area is Sheridan which depicts an average family size of 3.5 (15.2% larger).
Looking at Englewood households that are headed by a husband and wife as a percent of all families in Figure 12, Englewood shows it has a Married-couple family of 74% which is the second smallest as measured by percent of people in a husband and wife family of all the other places in the metro area. The city with the highest percent of people in a husband and wife family in the area is Columbine Valley which shows a husband and wife family percent of 97% (30.0% larger).
The next section of charts provide a detailed look at mothers and baby births that occurred over the past 12 months. Figure 13 shows the rate of women aged 15 to 50 years old who have given birth. Englewood depicts it has a Birth Rate of 6.2% which is the third most percent of women who have given birth of all other places in the greater Englewood region. The city with the highest percent of women who gave birth in the area is Sheridan which shows a birth rate of 9.8% (58.5% larger). Figure 14 shows the breakdown of the mother's age for all baby births that occurred in the last 12 months and it has one of the largest proportions of percent of births to mothers aged 15 to 19 at 2% of the total and is ranked #3. Only #2 Holly Hills CDP (11%), and #1 Sheridan (59%) are larger. Second, it has one of the largest proportions of percent of births to mothers aged 20 to 24 at 12% of the total and is ranked #3. Only #2 Littleton (15%), and #1 Sheridan (16%) are larger. Third, it has one of the largest proportions of percent of births to mothers aged 25 to 29 at 53% of the total and is ranked #2. The only larger city being Holly Hills CDP with 74%.
The next set of demographic data looks at the marital status for Englewood households which is useful for internet research. Figure 16 compares the total number of single people in each area. Englewood shows it has a Total Single People of 58% which is the second most of all the places in the metro area. The city with the highest percent of people who are single for any reason in the area is Sheridan which depicts a percent single of 61% (only about 5.5% larger). Comparing percent of people who are single for any reason to the United States average of 50%, Englewood is 14.6% larger. Also, compared with the state of Colorado, percent of people who are single for any reason of 48%, Englewood is 19.4% larger.
The next diagram (Figure 18) shows the year of entry that non citizens entered the United States. The year of entry can show the rate of flow at various points of time in the past for when they entered the U.S. it has the largest proportion of non citizens who entered the US between 2000 to 2009 at 49% of the total and is ranked #1. Second, it has in the mid range of other places in the greater region when ranked by non citizens who entered the US between 1990 to 1999 at 11% of the total. Third, it has the smallest proportion of non citizens who entered the US before 1990 at 7% of the total.
